Li Yi
Li Yi has always been seeking a platform where she could express herself creatively and comfortably. After attempting writing and painting, she finally has found her platform as a DJ. Having an appreciation for origins of all cultures and music, Li Yi enjoys learning about the different genres, sharing them with the crowd, hopefully bringing awareness to the importance of context understanding and appreciation through music.
Refuses to be categorised and labelled, Li Yi does not define herself as a DJ of certain genres. She can be seen playing the four-on-the-floor sounds frequently, ranging from Disco, Post-Disco Dance Music, Electronica, IDM and Proto Techno and House. Occasionally, she also digs the experimental and modern classical sounds, setting no limit to the type of sounds she would like to explore.
